Green Horizons is a FREE "hands-on" career day for middle school students, primarily 7th graders. Each participating school is entitiled to bring 10 students, under the leadership of the guidance counselor or science teacher. This year's event will be held at The Queens Botanical Garden on October 17th. There will be approximately 20 stations this year, with each participant involved in two stations. Topics include activities in arboriculture, horticulture, urban forestry, landscape architecture, and air and water pollution investigations.
